How important is RAM?

RAM is a very important part of the computer. Whenever we are working on multiple programs or doing any kind of multitasking, it is the RAM that makes it possible. If you do not have the proper amount of RAM in your system will become slower. 
So in general terms the more RAM you have the more speed you get.
